# Announcing: #AIEduHack Hackathon - April 2024

Join us on **April 17th** for #**AIEduHack**, a one-day, in-person hackathon focused on leveraging AI to develop innovative solutions to educational challenges in Nigeria & Africa.

This hackathon takes place alongside the [South East Educators Conference (SEEC)](https://southeasteducatorsconference.com/#program), giving you as a participant the opportunity to showcase your creations and connect with educators from across Nigeria and abroad.

### Hackathon Tracks & Problem Statements

We're looking for creative and impactful solutions that leverage AI to address challenges and opportunities in education in the following areas:

1. **Personalized learning & assessment:** AI-powered tools to provide personalized learning experiences and support to students.
    
2. **AI & Blockchain for Education:** Products that combine AI & blockchain technologies to address problems in education.
    
3. **Accessibility & Inclusivity:** Technology that improves access to education for all learners, regardless of background.
    
4. **Teacher support:** Tools that assist teachers in planning lessons, grading students’ work, and providing support to students.
